Description of pharmacological action

Dry boswellia (frankincense) gum extract reduces the production of leukotrienes (LT), which increases inflammation in the joint. Turmeric root polyphenols stimulate protective mechanisms (cytoprotective proteins, detoxification enzymes) that prevent the transition of acute inflammation to chronic. Phytosterols from cedar seed extract inhibit the activity of aggressive factors that destroy cartilage and other joint tissues.
