Garlic oil - preparation method

Does garlic oil help with joint pain - my review

I decided to dispel a surprisingly strong myth that is associated with a certain unique recipe for restoring joint mobility. Allegedly, garlic oil can improve joint function and has an analgesic effect.

The beginning of the story

As you know, the Internet has everything! And often all this is simply rewritten from one resource to another by some stupid people who are far from the problem.

They present some “folk” recipes that are invented on the fly. Nevertheless, as a collector of effective, working schemes, I am simply obliged to check each such recipe, there is no other way.

Which recipe are we going to look at?

For the experiment, I took a common recipe for garlic oil: I peeled 300 grams of garlic, ground it in a meat grinder, placed it in a glass jar and filled it with high-quality vegetable oil. I took the most expensive, unrefined, cold-pressed. Everything is as it should be according to the recipe.

For two weeks my composition was infused in a dark pantry, I drank the infusion every day, thereby activating the process of extracting useful substances from garlic. After two weeks, I strained my garlic oil through several layers of cheesecloth and began testing the product.

How to apply garlic oil to joints

I rubbed it on my knees, which are especially sensitive to me and seem to stiffen after sitting for a long time.

I also tried rubbing it into the hip joints.

Rubbing was carried out in the evening, the total duration for each joint was about 15 minutes.

The oil is better absorbed into pre-moisturized skin when the pores are open. Rubbed in after a bath, the skin should be moisturized, but dried with a paper towel before applying the oil.

Next, I wrapped my knees in polyethylene and put a woolen knee pad on top - I recommend it by the way! It works well without this garlic nonsense, but it’s too early to talk about results... read on!

So, in the morning I removed the compress, and in the evening I applied garlic oil again, according to the algorithm of actions.

Claimed improvements

It must be said right away that the stated improvements included improved joint mobility, decreased pain, and decreased crunching.

Course duration

Two months of nightly procedures should have at least somehow become noticeable. I honestly spent these two months inside and out.

My results and review

And now the most interesting thing is my results: so, after two months there was absolutely no improvement!

During this period, I specially stopped using all other means, and made a gentle diet in order to feel the improvements more adequately. But no! Friends, absolute zero! Maybe the garlic is wrong? Joke!

In fact, the effectiveness of garlic in other matters is beyond doubt, but in improving the condition of joints - nonsense!

Another point - garlic even dried out the joints somewhat , since after treatment, the next morning, there was a stronger sensation of sticking in the knee. So it goes…

But I had to check the recipe! And I hope that now you will have a clear understanding that the so-called garlic oil for joints is useless. Write your opinions on the recipe, and maybe your experience.

How to use

To enhance the healing effect, it is important to use garlic oil correctly. In the evenings, after hygiene measures, the drug is rubbed into the inflamed joint with massaging movements.

After which the area is wrapped in polyethylene, a warm scarf is used for insulation and fixation. In the morning, remove the bandage and rinse the skin with warm water and fragrance-free baby soap. After 2 procedures, the effect in the form of reduced pain and increased joint mobility becomes noticeable. The therapeutic course must be at least 2 months. To consolidate the result, it should be used 3 times a year.

On a note!

People with sensitive skin are advised to lubricate the area where garlic oil is applied with baby cream.

Garlic contains a lot of useful substances and is widely used in folk medicine to treat joints.

How does it affect?

Garlic is rich in various vitamins and microelements, but sulfur is especially valuable for treating the musculoskeletal system. It is involved in the formation of chondroitin and glucosamine.

These components of cartilage tissue provide freedom and painlessness of movement. The lack of these substances leads to such a phenomenon as “abrasion of the joints” due to the loss of water in the tissues. One of the first symptoms is a characteristic crunching of the joints when bending the knees.

The beneficial effect of garlic on the human body, including joints, is also due to the content of diallyl sulfide, which suppresses the production of enzymes that negatively affect articular cartilage.

Additionally, vitamin C (ascorbic acid) promotes collagen production . It, in turn, is a “building material” for cartilage tissue and is responsible for the flexibility of joints.

In addition to the listed microelements, garlic contains phosphorus and calcium, which are necessary for maintaining bones and teeth.

Among all food products, garlic occupies one of the leading places in terms of its positive effect on human health. Read our materials about the basic rules of its use from:

  • cancer;
  • toenail fungus;
  • parasites;
  • pressure;
  • herpes, acne and psoriasis;
  • toothache;
  • cough.
