Lectures by Vitaly Demyanovich Gitt on the treatment of diseases of the spine and joints

Vitaly Demyanovich is the author of a unique technique, backed by more than twenty years of professional experience and hundreds of cases of curing complex diseases of the musculoskeletal system. Author of five books and numerous publications. V. D. Gitt’s technique allows, without surgical intervention, to restore the musculoskeletal system for curvatures (scoliosis, lordosis, kyphosis) and other diseases of the spine (osteochondrosis, protrusions, hernias, radiculitis). Other diseases can also be restored: chest deformities in children and even adults, various arthrosis, including coxarthrosis, as well as heel spurs, varicose veins and much more.

Exercises for the hip joint

If the hip joint is damaged, then pain in the sick person occurs with any movement. This causes a person a lot of suffering and greatly limits his life activity and professional opportunities. The Gitt method for coxarthrosis involves daily repeated exercises.

  1. It is recommended to perform this exercise before getting out of bed. A cushion is placed under the knee joints, which should be higher the more advanced the stage of the disease. Spread your limbs apart and turn first one way or the other no more than a centimeter. The joints work very well without being tight or painful.
  2. Lie on your stomach and relax your body as much as possible. Your hands should be placed under your chin, and a small roller should be placed under your feet. It is important that the socks are suspended. Perform versatile movements without lifting the pelvis. You should do as much as possible throughout the day.
  3. Sit on a chair and perform movements with your legs, moving your knee joints closer and further away from each other. The palms should be placed on the knees. Do as many approaches as possible. Guided by your own feelings, you should choose the correct position for the limbs. They can be quite close to each other or widely spaced.
  4. From a position sitting on a chair, alternately lift your heels to a height of no more than one or two centimeters. There should be a five-second break between two exercises. A fast pace should be avoided, but try to work for as long as possible. This exercise can be repeated anywhere.
  5. Having chosen a ten-centimeter step or other elevation, stand on it with a limb with a healthy joint. And hang the other one freely, performing swinging movements with it. It is important to hold on to the support and make sure that there is no discomfort in the joint.
  6. Hang somewhere a loop tied from a strip of fabric or belt. Lie down so that the injured leg fits into it and swing the limb left and right.

How V. D. Gitt treats joint diseases

Treatment of arthrosis using the method of Vitaly Demyanovich Gitt involves performing exercises with a small amplitude. In this case, the joint does not experience even minor loads, movements are smooth and slow. If you feel even slight muscle tension, the workout stops. The exercises are not intended to strengthen the muscle corset; their goal is to normalize the production of synovial fluid and provide nutrition to the joint affected by arthrosis. During classes, a person does not feel tired, despite the fact that they last for several hours. Training is carried out in a sitting, standing and lying position, depending on the location of the diseased joint.

V. D. Gitt gives in his book such an example of the effectiveness of slow, smooth movements.

All children's favorite pastime is to sit and dangle their legs. Kids instinctively feel that this is beneficial to their growing body. Blood and nutrients flow to the knee and ankle joints, and there is virtually no stress on the joints that damages the cartilage.

It is this principle that underlies V.D. Gitt’s method - rehabilitation of a diseased joint occurs by performing exercises that eliminate any load on the joint. It receives synovial fluid with nutrients, but the cartilage is not destroyed, since the movements are smooth and slow. What a chiropractor recommends to his patients:

  • perform micromovements regularly;
  • visit a chiropractor for percussion massage, which improves blood and lymph circulation and stimulates pulmonary ventilation;
  • include low protein foods in your diet.

Following all the recommendations of V.D. Gitt will not only stop the progression of the pathology. The chiropractor claims that with regular daily training, hyaline cartilage is completely restored. The positive dynamics of such treatment were noted even in patients with severe forms of spondyloarthrosis or coxarthrosis. Many patients avoided endoprosthetics, since the next examination by an orthopedist revealed a significant increase in the range of motion in the joint. To activate microcirculation of synovial fluid in hyaline cartilage, V.D. Gitt recommends not only micromovements and a low-protein diet.

The chiropractor invented a special device - a vibrating couch. The principle of its operation is to create physiological vibrations that occur when walking. Under their influence, intensive circulation of blood, lymph, and synovial fluid occurs in the human body. At the same time, the joints are not subjected to physical stress.

V.D. Gitt never tires of reminding his patients that performing static and dynamic micromovements is useful for both adults and children. They have a beneficial effect on the entire human musculoskeletal system. Joint stiffness and morning swelling disappear, range of motion increases, pain of any nature and location disappears.

Duration of treatment

Treatment using the Vitaly Gitta method requires the desire and diligence of the patient. You should not expect recovery after a few weeks of doing gymnastics. Complications of arthrosis take years to form, so the process of reverse development will take the same time. In addition, the body is constantly aging, and to maintain it in the right shape, chiropractors recommend performing therapeutic exercises for life.

Arthrosis is a serious disease that leads to disability. Not all pathologies can be cured with medications. A course of therapeutic exercises using the Vitaly Gitt method is a good addition to the main treatment, which allows you to avoid surgery.

Contraindications and restrictions

Like any technique, Vitaly Gitta’s therapeutic gymnastics has some contraindications and limitations. Exercises are strictly contraindicated in the following cases:

  • Independent selection of exercises without consultation with your doctor. For various pathologies, certain types of movements are not recommended - they can aggravate the clinical picture,
  • Arterial hypertension - even small loads can provoke a hypertensive crisis. With this disease, you can perform certain exercises, but to prescribe them you must consult a doctor,
  • Heart defects - with this diagnosis, some restrictions arise in the course of therapeutic exercises,
  • Aortic aneurysm and recent stroke or heart attack are an absolute contraindication; some exercises are allowed after a few months under strict medical supervision.

Diet

Excluding certain foods from your usual menu becomes one of the fundamental conditions for health-improving actions. The good results of using this method for treating joint pathologies (arthrosis and arthritis) in combination with a low-protein diet fully confirm this.

Doctor Vitaly Demyanovich focuses on the following points:

  • he recommends not completely giving up protein foods;
  • It is advisable to replace animal proteins with plant analogues.

However, the specialist also believes that for patients with arthritis (arthrosis) of the joints, fatty foods are also useful, but in no case salty or smoked foods. A good tool for influencing sore joints, together with special exercises and diet, is the use of golden mustache recipes.

Before starting practical exercises on the treatment of joints according to the book by Vitaly Demyanovich Gitt, it is recommended to carry out a set of procedures for the treatment of bruises and injuries. The following plants have an anti-inflammatory effect on affected joints:

  • wheatgrass;
  • rose hip;
  • horsetail;
  • chamomile;
  • peppermint;
  • capsicum.

When does the shoulder joint hurt?

A set of classes for the treatment of arthritis of the shoulder joint, described in detail in the book by Vitaly Demyanovich Gita, is as follows:

  1. Take a comfortable position on a chair. Place the hand of the affected hand on the knee or on the table. The hand should be relaxed, the shoulder should be lowered down. Rock your elbow slightly outward and then inward. Do not forget that movements should be performed with a minimum amplitude - no more than two centimeters. If pain occurs, stop doing the exercises.
  2. Sit on a chair, raise and lower your shoulders. The range of motion is small.
  3. Continuing to sit on a chair, proceed to the next exercise. Make slight movements of your shoulders back and then forward.
  4. Please note: during exercises at home, patients “lift” their shoulders upward. To avoid such mistakes, relax, remembering to control your movements until a stable habit emerges.
  5. Make rotational movements with your shoulders in both directions.
  6. Movements to restore the shoulder joint can be performed simultaneously on both arms (shoulders).
  7. In difficult situations, it is advisable to perform special gymnastics throughout the day for 5–10 minutes per hour.

When treating arthritis of the shoulder joint, to achieve positive dynamics of recovery, the following factors must be observed:

  • special diet;
  • long-term performance of gymnastics according to Dr. Gitt’s method.

It is worth understanding that this disease is acquired over years. The process of rehabilitation of a diseased shoulder joint also takes a long time. You need to be patient and do a physical set of exercises every day.

Why physical therapy is ineffective

The initial stages of arthrosis are characterized by small destructive and degenerative lesions of the hyaline cartilage located near the joint capsule. To prevent further tissue destruction, orthopedists recommend that patients regularly perform exercises to improve blood supply to all joint structures. Nutrients enter them, and cartilage damage stops.

Vitaly Gitt argues that treating arthrosis with physical exercise does more harm than good. The division of cartilage cells is very slow, but this speed is quite sufficient for normal health. To restore cells, both the produced synovial fluid and the amount of nutrients supplied with it are sufficient. But when the pathological process has already developed, high motor activity only accelerates the destruction of the joint:

  • during training, the rate of wear of hyaline cartilage exceeds the rate of its restoration;
  • active training causes even greater injury to already destroyed tissues and formed bone growths;
  • the likelihood of developing inflammation in the joint, the formation of areas of calcification, and the deposition of harmful salts increases.

V. D. Gitt concluded that an increase in physical activity only accelerates the further progression of coxarthrosis, gonarthrosis, spondyloarthrosis and other types of arthrosis. Many people diagnosed with this pathology may object. After all, they notice that during physical therapy exercises and for several hours after training, pain is not felt, and stiffness of movement disappears. V.D. Gitt explains this by the influence of endorphins, which are always produced in the body during physical exercise. These hormone-like substances are characterized by multifaceted therapeutic properties:

  • pain reliever;
  • anti-inflammatory;
  • decongestant.

The therapeutic effect of endorphins lasts 2-3 hours, and then the pain returns, while its intensity increases over time.

But the patient has already appreciated the analgesic effectiveness of regular exercise, so he begins to train more actively in the hope of a complete recovery. Chiropractor V.D. Gitt warns that in this way the patient aggravates the course of arthrosis, bringing surgery or disability closer.
