"Healing the Spine"
From the author:
Everyone wants to be healthy. Everyone wants to have healthy children. Not always and not everyone succeeds. Quite often, the cause of deterioration in health is errors or lack of information from parents, patients themselves, or attending physicians. When it comes to health, learning from your mistakes is dangerous, and sometimes simply impossible... It is no less dangerous to rely on the advice of “informed” people. A special article is advertising. Television, radio, and the press constantly bombard unsophisticated minds with advertisements for hundreds of miracle cures. Ointments, rubs, food additives, “magic” devices, amulets... Many of these products, according to advertising, easily “cure” hundreds (!) of diseases... Maybe there is something useful among them, but this happens extremely rarely. If the proposed means were highly effective, then it would hardly be necessary to advertise more and more new names every month...
The materials for this book have been collected for more than ten years. Some of them were published in periodicals. To the best of my ability, I grouped them thematically. It is also worth noting that the specificity of the diseases that we will consider lies in the interaction of complex systems of the skeleton, muscles and... the brain. This interaction can take many different combinations.

“Humpty Dumpty” Gitt
“FiS”, 2005, No. 3
Vitaly Demyanovich Gitt is a hereditary healer. For many years now, he has been successfully using the original method he developed for body correction, treatment of joints and spine - organs whose condition determines not only a person’s general well-being and mood, but even life. Vitaly Gitt believes that in order to correct fate, it is enough to correct your posture - this conclusion is confirmed by the entire practice of the chiropractor. Severe joint diseases, in his opinion, also affect a person’s character, and therefore fate - karma. A hip joint or, for example, a knee that is not treated in time affects your future and can create a lot of troubles, not to mention severe physical suffering. The advice you will receive in this and subsequent issues of the magazine, as well as answers to any of your questions that are within the competence of our new author, will help you avoid them.
I have always been amazed at how much effort and energy people sometimes waste on practically useless activities and how little time they devote to the most valuable thing - the art of a long healthy life! The reason for this state of affairs is in our philistine logic: “A bird in the hands is better than a pie in the sky.” A reward delayed for forty years does not appeal to anyone, even if this reward is excellent health in one’s declining years. However, in 99% of elderly people, old age is accompanied by excruciating pain (most often the joints or spine, which is also a chain of joints, hurt), helplessness, loss of memory, hearing, and vision. But much less attention is paid to the problem of aging than to the flu or such a rare disease of our time as cholera. And very often the patient hears from the doctor that at this age all this is natural. That's the thing, it's unnatural! Unnatural and abnormal. At any age, a person can and should be healthy and live without suffering. What to do and how to live so that in your declining years there is no excruciating pain? No, not for the years spent aimlessly, as Nikolai Ostrovsky wrote, but simply so as not to suffer from pain in the literal sense of the word. I hope that my advice on the treatment of arthrosis and various postural disorders will help you maintain health, vigor and youth until your very old age, and will make these years pleasant and painless.
Few people manage to live to middle age with healthy joints. And unhealthy joints are known to cause pain - sometimes severe, and sometimes so much that it is impossible to imagine. It is believed that people do not die from joint diseases. At least the statistics don't say anything about this. It calculates losses from cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases, car and plane accidents, diseases caused by smoking, alcoholism and various epidemics. However, joint diseases are perhaps the most common. In Moscow alone, hundreds of thousands of people suffer from various joint diseases. Sick joints cause a lot of trouble and are fraught with serious complications. A sick person loses the ability to move freely. Even going to the store becomes an undertaking of unimaginable complexity. Problems with personal hygiene arise: it is difficult to sit in the bath or get to the toilet... Loss of mobility provokes diseases of the cardiovascular system. Following this, the lungs, endocrine glands, digestive organs and psyche suffer. The result is a heart attack, stroke, pneumonia, stomach ulcer, or even cancer. The matter is complicated by the fact that arthrosis is a disease whose treatment using traditional medicine methods gives very insignificant results and often ends in disability. Let's look at what happens in a joint affected by arthrosis. This disease begins with cartilage, which, for one reason or another, becomes covered with calcium salts. At this time, the person does not feel anything yet, the disease is hidden. Cartilage tissue, very dense and slippery, does not contain blood vessels, nutrition occurs through the surface. Nutrients are delivered to the cartilage by the articular (synovial) fluid. Calcium salts disrupt the nutrition of cartilage. Cartilage cells, deprived of nutrition, die. The articular surface becomes rough and uneven. The first pain begins when moving, since the cartilage contains many sensitive nerve endings. Attempts to get rid of pain through intense physical exercise initially lead to some reduction in pain, since endorphins are released into the blood during physical activity. Feeling relief, the person begins to exercise even more intensively, hoping to be completely cured. But such loads cause accelerated destruction of cartilage (the surfaces are uneven!) and often provoke an inflammatory reaction in response to irritation. So, several processes immediately begin in a diseased joint. In some places the cartilage becomes calcified and destroyed, in others it grows. The joint capsule becomes rougher, and calcium compounds are often deposited in it. Similar changes occur in nearby tendons and ligaments. The tendons become rough and inelastic. As a result, movements in the joint are partially blocked and - when trying to increase the amplitude - the first pain appears. At later stages, adjacent muscles and nerves are involved in the process, and in some joints the destruction of bone tissue begins. The general changes that occur in a diseased joint are very similar to the aging process. In most cases, the mobility of the articular joints decreases slowly, and the sick person more or less adapts to these changes. A senile type of behavior and a cautious gait appear. And limited movements are associated with age... All this leads to degradation of the cardiovascular and muscular systems. It is not for nothing that in the East it has long been believed that a person’s age is determined by the condition of the joints. Unfortunately, such changes are possible even at a very young age. From time to time, “old people” 10-15 years old appear at my reception! Typically, arthrosis develops quite slowly, sometimes over decades. However, there are cases of extremely rapid development of the disease, when a year or less passes from the first symptoms to severe disability. Often the impetus for the development of arthrosis is the forced immobility of the joint during the treatment of fractures or dislocations. And putting a joint in order can be much more difficult than curing the fracture or dislocation itself. It happens that arthrosis begins to develop as a result of arthritis (inflammation of the joint) that has arisen for one reason or another. And then two groups of diseases - arthrosis (dystrophic changes in the joint) and arthritis - go as if in one harness in a train, one after another. Only the order sometimes changes. When the joint capsule and tendons are involved in the inflammatory process, the pain intensifies, the joint swells, endorphins stop helping, and the person is forced to refrain from unnecessary movements for a while. But abstaining from movement also has a negative effect on the joint - arthrosis develops faster. After all, for the normal functioning of the joint, movement is absolutely necessary! In short, a person finds himself in a vicious circle. But I will help you get out of it, which means interrupting the process of arthrosis development and reversing it. Remember Humpty Dumpty, who was sitting on the wall (probably a fence). Humpty Dumpty sat and dangled his legs. Many children do this. I think they instinctively choose movements that promote cartilage growth. The most interesting thing is that when “dangling your legs,” the load on your knees is zero. This means that joint destruction does not occur. But there is movement. Movement ensures the flow of synovial fluid between the articular surfaces and contributes to the rehabilitation of the joint! Many different exercises can be created based on the type of movements of Humpty Dumpty. For example, an exercise to develop knee joints . Sit on a high chair or table. Rock your legs slightly. The range of motion should be small, so that you do not experience any pain. At first, this exercise should be done 3 times a day for several minutes. You can then spend hours on it, doing it even at work. Here are two more exercises. Exercise to develop hip joints in severe cases. Sit on a chair. Place your feet firmly on the floor. Slightly bring your knees in and out. The amplitude of movements does not exceed several centimeters. The exercise should not cause pain. Exercise to develop hip joints in milder cases . While standing, perform pendulum movements alternately with your left and right legs. The amplitude depends on the condition of the joint and the capabilities of the person. I have developed similar exercises for almost all joints. You will learn more about them in subsequent issues, in articles devoted to specific joints: hip, knee, shoulder, ankle, elbow, as well as hands and fingers. Special sets of exercises are complemented by recommendations on nutrition, on carrying out specific procedures of external influence - on treating a sore joint with your hands, as well as other useful tips. My experience shows: with the help of my technique, even the most severe arthrosis can be treated, and treated successfully. In medicine it is difficult to promise anything, but with arthrosis of the 2nd, 3rd or 3-4th degrees, it is usually possible to achieve a significant improvement in the functioning of the joint and avoid surgery. So, one of the main conditions for treatment is resolving the contradiction between harm and benefit from movement in the joint. For this purpose, I have developed a method of special exercises used for a wide variety of joints and with varying degrees of damage. One thing in common: all exercises are performed for a very long time, with a minimal range of motion and without stress on the joint. “Very long” means several hours a day. If the joint is not loaded and the range of motion is small, then, on the one hand, there are no destructive processes, and on the other hand, there is a constant circulation of synovial fluid in the joint areas. Nutrients are delivered to friction points. As a result, effective regeneration of destroyed articular surfaces occurs.

Arthrosis of large joints such as the hip is considered the most hopeless disease. This means that every month, and especially every year, the sick person feels worse and worse. And sooner or later he is forced to agree to a difficult operation or to use crutches. However, the operation only delays the use of crutches for a few years. But there is a way out of this situation. You can cure diseased joints using a special technique. We'll talk about how to use it today.
Arthrosis of the hip joints
At an appointment with a chiropractor, sometimes we meet very sick patients. They have a hobbling gait and rely on a stick or walk on crutches. These people suffer from advanced coxarthrosis. What it is? How to avoid it? How to detect and how to treat? What to do if the disease is advanced? The lives and well-being of many people depend on knowing the answers to these questions. Coxarthrosis, or arthrosis of the hip joint, is a very serious joint disease with dangerous consequences.
The reasons for the development of coxarthrosis are different: injuries, hypothermia, infectious diseases, metabolic disorders and much more. Typically, arthrosis develops slowly, so the connection between cause and effect, beginning and end, is weakly traced. The exception, perhaps, is congenital dislocation of the hip joints. Children born with such a defect have a very high chance of developing coxarthrosis in adulthood.
Diagnosis of coxarthrosis is complicated by the low information content of x-ray examination in the initial stages of the disease and the similarity of symptoms with the manifestations of radiculitis in later stages. When a patient with pain in the hip area comes to the clinic, he is usually immediately sent for an x-ray and, of course, having discovered some changes in the spine, they begin to treat osteochondrosis. Sometimes for years. Meanwhile, undiagnosed coxarthrosis continues to develop, as the prescribed treatment turns out to be useless. Therefore, it is so important to know the early signs of coxarthrosis, which is important for a timely diagnosis. No one is more interested in your health than you. The tactic of an ostrich burying its head in the sand is useless and dangerous.
• So, the first signs of coxarthrosis appear several years before the onset of the acute stage. At first, the pain is rare and short-lived. They usually appear after unusually heavy loads, hypothermia or a change in weather. Sometimes - for no apparent reason. They pass quickly and, as a rule, do not attract attention.
This is the initial stage. Diagnosis is very difficult. The mobility of the joint is not impaired; changes are not noticeable on the x-ray. Minimum precautions and preventive treatment provide an almost guaranteed and complete cure. But such patients very rarely consult a doctor, most likely by accident.
• After some time, the initial stage passes into the 1st-2nd degree. Now the first changes appear on the radiograph - the layer of articular cartilage becomes somewhat thinner. There is a slight decrease in mobility in the joint. The pain becomes more frequent and intensifies. They also happen at night: it usually hurts to lie on your side. A person’s well-being at this time is uneven. Long periods of exacerbation are followed by short-term remissions. Diagnosis is not difficult, but is not always carried out.
In order to check whether you have coxarthrosis, you need to lie on your back, pull your leg to your chest and try to turn your shin inward. You can do this yourself or with the help of loved ones. If the joint is affected, the procedure becomes somewhat painful, and the angle of leg bending and rotation of the tibia is limited. Confirmation of the disease can be pain when tapping the areas of the posterior upper edge of the ilium and hip joint.
Attention! Tapping is carried out with a fist only through the assistant’s tightly pressed fingers. This simultaneously softens the impact and makes it deeper. Tightly pressed fingers deliver the impact energy to the desired location, squeeze blood out of the capillaries and thereby prevent their damage (bruising).
Sometimes at this stage one can observe a shortening of the diseased limb by 1-3 cm. This does not occur due to wear and tear of the cartilage, as patients usually think, but due to pelvic distortion or weakening of the ligamentous apparatus and upward displacement of the head of the hip joint.
The treatment that is started is usually quite successful, although it requires significant effort and hard work from the patient. Almost complete recovery is possible, including restoration of normal leg length.
Parents need to pay special attention to the length of their children's legs. Shortening the leg by 1-2 cm spoils the gait and can cause not only scoliosis in childhood, but also coxarthrosis in adulthood. Shortening of a limb is much easier to treat in childhood than coxarthrosis, which can develop years later. Much less often the diseased limb lengthens. This happens when the pelvis is distorted. Misalignment is possible with long-term inflammation of the nerves extending from the affected segment of the spine. The treatment is quite difficult.
• At the transition from the 2nd to higher degrees, the remnants of cartilage disappear and the destruction of bone tissue begins. Joint mobility quickly and severely decreases; shortening can reach 6 or more centimeters. A characteristic hobbling gait appears. The patient takes a stick, and if both joints are affected, use crutches. The pain in the joint becomes extremely painful. It hurts to walk, it hurts to sit, it hurts to lie down and it hurts...to live. The pain spreads from the lower back throughout the entire leg. Diagnostics does not cause any difficulties.
Alas, treatment of coxarthrosis at this stage is very labor-intensive and time-consuming, and residual effects are inevitable. Therefore, it must be started as early as possible.
The main component in the treatment of coxarthrosis is physical exercise. However, this is a fairly potent drug, which means it can be dangerous. The situation is complicated by generally accepted opinions: “Physical training will not bring harm,” “Movement heals,” “The more you walk, the healthier you will be.” Indeed, if a person is healthy, it is difficult to damage joints through physical exercise. In the case of arthrosis, the situation is, alas, different. As the range of motion or load on the joint increases, the diseased cartilage is intensively destroyed. But lack of movement also leads to accelerated degradation of the diseased joint. As you already know, exercises like humpty dumpty will help resolve this contradiction. The most important! None of the recommended exercises should cause even the slightest pain. If you feel pain, stop the exercise immediately! Pain is extremely harmful to your joints.
Exercise 1. It is better to perform it on the floor, after laying down a rug or blanket, but you can also do it on the sofa. Lie on your stomach, place your arms under your head or along your body. Place a small pad or cushion under your feet. Relax as much as possible. As you roll on your stomach, sway your hips slightly left and right. The range of movements should not exceed 2-3 cm. Do not strain your muscles or try to lift your pelvis. If you feel the slightest pain, reduce your range of motion and try to relax; Determine by experience the most suitable distance between the heels. The exercise is performed 3 times a day for 10 minutes (before meals). Particularly weak patients should start with 3-5 minutes 2 times a day and gradually increase its implementation to the full program. Rotational movements help improve nutrition of the hip joints. But for people who have been without normal physical activity for a long time, even such a simple exercise is sometimes difficult to perform correctly. Therefore, at first it is advisable to do it under external control or passively, with the help of an operator. The benefits of exercise are not limited to the joints. Its implementation helps improve intestinal motility, while the liver, gall bladder, stomach, pancreas and other organs are massaged. In overweight people, the stomach tightens, the waist size decreases and the appetite decreases. Diabetes often improves. If your knees are sore and swollen, you may feel pain in them. In this case, you need to place something soft under your knees. The exercise can be performed even with the most severe forms of the disease, because the leg muscles are not involved and the movement in the joint is passive.
Exercise 2. Performed lying (reclining) on your back. Extend and spread your legs slightly, alternately turning them outward and inward. The range of movements is extremely small - no more than 0.5-1 cm. It is advisable to place a small pillow under the knees. If you experience pain, you need to reduce the range of motion, change the width of your leg spread and relax as much as possible. The exercise will appeal to couch potatoes, because while doing it you can read, watch TV, and talk.
Exercise 3 (the most universal and easiest). Performed while sitting. You can do it at home, at work, in transport and even in the theater. Sit comfortably. Your knees should be approximately shoulder-width apart and your feet flat on the floor. Bring your knees in and out easily and without tension. The range of movements is 0.5-1 cm. In the initial stage (to control the range of movements), it is better to keep your hands on your knees, and after acquiring skills, anywhere. If you feel pain, try to reduce the range of motion, place your legs a little narrower or wider, change the frequency of movements, relax. The total time for performing the exercises is from 3 to 6 hours. You shouldn't do them all at once, one after the other. It is advisable to distribute it throughout the day. All exercises are similar in their effect. Which one to do depends on your capabilities and desires. The above exercises are useful for any degree of coxarthrosis. And the following exercise is recommended to be performed only at the initial stage of the disease - no higher than 2nd degree.
Exercise 4. Performed while standing. Stand with your healthy leg on a slight elevation, while the patient should hang down as much as possible. Rock your affected leg back and forth and left and right. Be sure to hold onto a support (or wall). It is advisable that the affected leg be on the opposite side of the support. Do it 2-3 times a day for 5-10 minutes. Painful sensations are not allowed.
Exercise 5. This exercise is intended for the weakest patients who cannot sit, get out of bed onto the floor, or lie on a table. Make a loop from a wide belt or towel. Hang it above the bed, at your feet, at a height of approximately 25 cm. Lie on the bed and insert your sore leg into the loop, approximately to the middle of your calf. Completely relax your leg and swing it slightly left and right or bending and unbending at the knee. The movement is performed with minimal amplitude.

Arthrosis of the hip joints
One of the main conditions for the treatment of arthrosis, as you already know, is resolving the contradiction between the harm and benefit of movement in the joint. For this purpose, I have developed a large number of exercises and methods for their use for a wide variety of joints (hip, knee, ankle, shoulder, elbow, hands and fingers) with varying degrees of damage. In the last issue, I gave exercises for the hip joints, which, without loading the joint, but at the same time activating the circulation of synovial fluid at the joints, deliver nutrients to the places of friction. As a result, effective regeneration of destroyed articular surfaces occurs. But exercise alone is not enough. After all, the joint capsule, tendons, and muscles are affected. Therefore, external influence is necessary, which we will talk about in this issue.
The next component of treatment is applying pressure to the joint with your hands. Its goal is to activate blood circulation in the affected area, restore the elasticity of the adjacent tendons, the elasticity of the joint capsule and provide conditions for joint regeneration. An assistant is needed for this. Procedure 1. Begins with tapping along the upper posterior edge of the ilium (Fig. 2, a). (A large nerve passes through this place, usually inflamed with coxarthrosis.) It is performed through tightly, forcefully pressed fingers (this technique is called percussion). The stronger the inflammation, the lighter and weaker the blows should be. Then, to cause a rush of blood, several strong slaps are applied with the palm of the hand. The procedure relieves nerve inflammation and activates regenerative processes in the joint. Procedure 2. Similar to the previous one, but performed in the area of the head of the hip bone (Fig. 3, a). The blows are applied through the fingers, hard enough, but so as not to cause excessive pain. During the procedure, salt deposits in the joint capsule, adjacent tendons and in the joint itself are broken up. As a result, joint mobility increases, its nutrition improves and pain decreases. The procedure also ends with vigorous spanking. Procedure 3. The hand is placed on the front of the thigh, just below the groin, and pressed firmly (Fig. 3, b). Energetic but careful blows are delivered with the wrist or the edge of the palm through the hand. The main effect is aimed at the rubbing surfaces of the joints. Spanking is not recommended. Procedure 4. Similar to the previous one, but the hand is placed on the back of the thigh, just below the gluteal fold (Fig. 2, b). Ends with spankings. All this is repeated, starting from the 1st procedure, 8-10 times. The effect is carried out once a week.
Indicators of correct procedures are the complete absence of bruises, bruises, and slight redness of the skin immediately after the session. A slight increase in pain in the joint is allowed the day after the procedure. How often should procedures be performed? They are usually held once a week. Then - once a month or once every 2-3 weeks, according to indications. In the most severe cases, accompanied by severe inflammation or swelling - once every 10-14 days. Then, when the disease is alleviated, according to the previous scheme. And another component of the treatment of coxarthrosis that you should pay attention to is nutrition. Nutritionists recommend different types of diets. Some of them are designed to remove excess calcium and cleanse the body, others provide excess calcium and amino acids for accelerated regeneration of joint tissue. It is clear that the effect of such diets is exactly the opposite, and, perhaps, all of them can lead to a worsening of the situation. Accelerated calcium removal should theoretically help dissolve salt deposits and increase joint mobility. In fact, this rather leads to the development of osteoporosis and the fact that the bones become fragile. Excess calcium amino acids actually stimulate the growth of joint tissue. The only trouble is that they often grow in the wrong place. However, if coxarthrosis develops against the background of a general disease, when many joints are affected, the diet can bring tangible benefits. But it must be used extremely carefully and only after consulting a specialist. Possibly. you will have to alternate between fasting and diets of various effects. If the disease is accompanied by swelling of the joints, a diet that includes low salt content in food and plenty of fluids, including diuretics, can be recommended. Tomatoes, sorrel, spinach, peppers and hot seasonings are undesirable. Watermelons are useful. It is necessary to constantly include foods with a high potassium content (dried apricots, apricots, bananas) in your diet. An approximate serving is 2-3 apricots, dried apricots or half a medium banana 3 times a day, half an hour before meals. (A kilogram of bananas once every 3 days is harmful. A shock single dose of potassium causes its accelerated elimination from the body.) Regularity is very important. With such a diet, swelling of the joints is usually easily relieved, inflammatory processes and further treatment are alleviated. If you are not afraid of being overweight (with arthrosis it easily develops), replace bananas with baked potatoes, which should be eaten without salt and with the peel. It is possible with a small amount of butter, but without vegetables. It is better to take small potatoes. It's very tasty and nutritious!
It is no coincidence that I constantly describe in great detail the processes that occur in the joints, although you will probably ask: “Why do I need to know all this? Why do I need all these subtleties? After all, there are doctors.” However, knowledge gives us the opportunity to prevent, slow down and even reverse the process of disease and joint destruction. And underestimation of the ongoing processes forces people to resort again and again to the same treatment methods, which, in principle, cannot help. There are a lot of such techniques. See if they are familiar to you? Excessive use of various rubbings, ointments and plasters, sometimes very exotic. It should be remembered that medicinal substances cannot enter the joint from the surface of the skin, no matter what advertising promises. The effect of these drugs is distracting. They do not stop or slow down the progression of the disease. Intense physical exercise. Usually accelerate the process of joint destruction. Thermal procedures - sauna, hot sand or salt. The effect is close to the effect of rubbing and ointments. All kinds of “cleanses” of the body, fasting. Application is acceptable, but not in all cases. Cleansing can lead to accelerated development of osteoporosis, leaching of calcium and potassium from the body, seizures, and heart disease. The therapeutic effect is insignificant. The use of devices that act on the damaged area with sound waves, ultrasound, ultraviolet and infrared rays, and a magnetic field. The creators and developers claim that with the help of these devices it is possible to cure many diseases, including arthrosis. Indeed, with the use of some of them, an improvement in the condition of the muscles and capillaries of nearby tissues is observed, but these devices have virtually no effect on the joint, although pain in many cases is temporarily relieved by relieving muscle spasm and swelling. Use of bioenergy correctors. Treatment comes down to wearing a certain amulet on the sore spot - a capsule filled with substances of plant, animal, mineral origin or some kind of spirals. They say that an emanation of health emanates from them, correcting the human biofield and having a healing effect. All this is very doubtful... And in the clinic they add all sorts of procedures, the most senseless of which, in my opinion, is exposure to a magnetic field. In my many years of practice, there has not been a single case in which such an effect had a therapeutic effect, except, perhaps, the placebo effect. They can also give powerful injections that relieve inflammation (which is not so bad) and cause accelerated growth of cartilage, although not in the right place (this can cause much more harm than good). In addition, several new “magic” joint treatments are advertised on the drug market every year. Alas, after more or less lengthy trials, a person is convinced that the last “magic” remedy does not work! Meanwhile, information is emerging about newer and more miraculous (of course, more expensive!) drugs and devices. The tests can begin again. The cycle repeats. Time passes, the disease develops.

“Hello, dear editors! The recommendations regarding the treatment of joints given by the healer Vitaly Demyanovich Gitt prompted me to contact your magazine. Four years ago, one fine morning, I was unable to get out of bed due to severe pain in my hip. The doctor said that we would relieve the acute pain, but there was no treatment for the joints. This is an age-related disease, and I am 68 years old, and there is no escape from age. They prescribed treatment - IVs, injections, electrotherapy, massage, a magnet on the leg. I was in the hospital for a month. Currently the condition is such that walking and sitting hurt. Somehow I hobble to the table and back. And here is your magazine. Vitaly Demyanovich's article provided me with great moral support. I really hope that his technique will alleviate my condition as much as possible. For a month now I have been doing exercises No. 1, 2, 4 for the hip joints for 3 hours every day. Exercise No. 3 should be done while it hurts, and I don’t do it. I would be grateful if in the next issue of the magazine Vitaly Demyanovich gives an equally intelligent, accessible and understandable explanation of my serious ailments and answers whether it is possible to at least alleviate the condition a little (besides, my left leg is 1.5 cm shorter). With deep respect and best wishes,” Elena Petrovna ADAMOVICH, Ivanovo, Brest region.
We gave Elena Petrovna’s letter, along with the attached copies of an extract from the medical history and a photograph of the diseased hip joint, to Vitaly Demyanovich, but since the problems of the author of the letter are quite typical and the answer may be of interest to our other readers, we publish it on the pages of the magazine.
Humpty Dumpty in action
Coxarthrosis is a severe disease of the hip joints, as I already wrote on the pages of FiS, and indeed it cannot be treated with traditional medicine. The only alternative method that she offers to patients is surgery. However, the method I developed of using special physical exercises of the “humpty-dumpty” type (load without load) has already helped many of my patients get rid of this disease. I think that Elena Petrovna, if she shows sufficient persistence and patience, will be able to improve her condition. The main thing is not to forget that in addition to physical exercise, it is necessary to regularly carry out external work on the joint and adhere to the recommended diet. Naturally, an exercise that causes pain should not be done; time will pass, the joint will begin to recover little by little, and this exercise can be performed together with others. The case of Elena Petrovna is not at all hopeless. In my practice there were situations much more serious. Several years ago, Olga Savvichna Danilushkina turned to me for help (I tell this story with her permission). She was then 65 years old, and she suffered from a severe form of coxarthrosis of the left hip joint. The x-ray that she showed me showed that the cartilage layer in the joint was completely absent, the acetabular head was destroyed (erased due to the lack of cartilage), as a result, the left leg was shortened by 2.5 centimeters and the patient could not move it due to severe pain maybe (in picture 1 you can clearly see that the bones are in contact with each other). She is forced to take large doses of analgesics, and can only move on crutches. In general, degree 4 coxarthrosis. I remember well that I recommended to Olga Savvichna not to waste time and have an operation, the disease was too advanced. But contrary to my advice, she insisted on treatment using my method. I did the exercises regularly and for a long time, and scrupulously followed all my instructions.
I felt the first positive changes in the joint after a year of hard training. And indeed, I was finally able to detect slight mobility in her joint, and the control image showed a thin strip of restored cartilage. The pain decreased and the condition continued to improve. After five years of hard training using the “Humpty Dumpty” method, a control image showed that the thickness of the cartilage layer had increased by 1 centimeter (this is clearly visible in image 2). The length of the leg became the same as healthy, the pain completely disappeared. Olga Savvichna has been walking without crutches for a long time, only sometimes in winter, for safety reasons, she uses a cane. Mobility in the affected joint is almost normal. He can sit on a low bench, take care of his toenails - actions that are impossible with severe coxarthrosis. I did not lose sight of this patient of mine. I know that she continues to do her usual exercises, adheres to the prescribed diet and does not complain about coxarthrosis. And here is the feedback I received about this case from Doctor of Medical Sciences, surgeon Yu.M. Levinson: “With the method of treating joints developed by V.D. I have known Git for a long time, about 20 years. I personally examined Danilushkina and got acquainted with her x-rays. And although it is believed that regenerative processes in large joints are impossible, this case convincingly proves that the generally accepted theory is incorrect. Coxarthrosis, even very severe, can be successfully treated using V.D.’s technique. Gitta." I quote these words in order to once again convince everyone who suffers from joint diseases to cure themselves using a technique that is described in detail in the journal “Physical Education and Sports” (No. 3–9, 2005).

Vitaly Gitt - Treatment of arthrosis. Relief from subthreshold pain, depression and fatigue

Treatment of arthrosis. Relief from subthreshold pain, depression and fatigue
PART 1. TREATMENT OF ARTHROSIS
Sorcerer
(Instead of a foreword)
Vitaly Demyanovich Gitt is a sorcerer. He works miracles, does impossible things, every day. The miracle that is constantly before our eyes ceases to be perceived as such, but... remains a miracle.
The technique developed by Vitaly Gitt is unique. During the treatment, joints are restored, the shape of the ribs and spine changes, legs are straightened, and disc herniations disappear without a trace. How does this happen? Are there any secrets here? How can you change the shape of a rigid skeleton? The usual practice of classical manual therapy is short-term and intense exposure. And Vitaly Demyanovich takes full advantage of it. This way you can cure many diseases, but not all of them. It is possible to correct a herniated disc, but scoliosis cannot be cured. You can get rid of osteochondrosis, but you cannot get rid of arthrosis. You can cure a pinched nerve, accompanied by terrible pain, but you cannot straighten your legs... But Vitaly Gitt does all this. Treats scoliosis, straightens limbs, restores damaged cartilage in joints.
At first glance, everything is simple. He'll stroke it, knock there, press it, twist it... Plus exercises. Large original set of exercises. Usually very light, extremely light... Similar to homeopathy. Small doses, long-term weak effect. And more stimulation. Changing the shape of the skeleton and restoring joints is possible because the body is a living and developing system.
Skeletal development occurs at any age. In living bone tissue there are two groups of cells with directly opposite actions. One group continuously destroys bone, the other builds it. Thus, the skeleton can adapt to changing loads during life. Similar processes occur in articular cartilage - under the influence of movement, the cartilage is destroyed and movement stimulates its growth. As a result, the shape of the legs, spine, and chest changes in old age. And since such a process occurs, it means that it is possible to control it and even reverse it. By influencing key points, it is possible to stimulate the growth of connective tissue (cartilage, tendons) in the required places. That is, by changing the thickness of the meniscus, you can straighten the leg or cure arthrosis of the knee joint, and by influencing the intervertebral discs, you can eliminate scoliosis, kyphosis, lordosis or increase height. Olga S, 68 years old, says: “I knew my disease was incurable - coxarthrosis, fourth degree, hip joints were destroyed. I was getting ready to replace them. I accidentally got an appointment with Vitaly Gitt. He did a miracle. Now I can walk freely, no pain. I forgot to even think about the operation. The joints have recovered."
And here’s what Tatyana P., 40 years old, says: “I spent my whole life with a leg shortened by two centimeters. Because of this, scoliosis developed. My back hurt a lot. I constantly felt inferior. Now I am completely healthy. The leg has grown, no more scoliosis!”
Before visiting Vitaly Gitt, 90% of patients were considered absolutely incurable and, nevertheless, they were healed! The author's technique allows him to change the shape of skeletal bones in children and adults. Consequently, the shape of the legs, chest, and spine can be corrected. “Chicken” and funnel chests, kyphosis, scoliosis are successfully treated - diseases that most often affect children today.
And what beauties Vitaly Demyanovich creates from the most ordinary girls! Fashion models and fashion models in the hands of a sorcerer become simply irresistible...

Doctor of Medical Sciences
From the author
Everyone wants to be healthy. Everyone wants to have healthy children. Not always and not everyone succeeds. Quite often, the cause of deterioration in health is errors or lack of information from parents, patients themselves, or attending physicians. When it comes to health, learning from your mistakes is dangerous, and sometimes simply impossible... It is no less dangerous to rely on the advice of “informed” people. A special article is advertising. Television, radio, and the press constantly “bombard” inexperienced minds with advertisements for hundreds of miraculous remedies.
To the best of my ability, I have grouped them thematically. It is also worth noting that the specificity of the diseases that we will consider lies in the interaction of complex systems of the skeleton, muscles and brain. This interaction can take many different combinations.
For these reasons, the questions I raise are sometimes repeated, or rather examined from a slightly different perspective, which allows us to penetrate deeper into their essence.
Perhaps this is exactly what will help you better understand the causes of the disease, monitor the progress of its development, and also become familiar with the healing method.
Some readers may be confused about my philosophical position. Yes, most of the issues discussed in the book are quite amenable to explanation from a materialist position. But it should not be ruled out that the great Democritus could have been mistaken in believing that there is nothing in the world except atoms and emptiness. Numerous reliable cases of miraculous healings, clairvoyance, telepathic communication and much, much more absolutely do not fit into the rigid Procrustean bed of modern materialism...
CHAPTER I
DISEASES OF THE MUSCULOCAL SYSTEM
The Art of Living
To live your life wisely, you need to know a lot.
Outstanding chess players, politicians, military men, artists and doctors are distinguished by their ability to foresee the future or, more precisely, the results of their actions and the reaction of others to them. Thanks to the development of this ability, achievements and discoveries are made in many areas of human activity.
Since childhood, I have been amazed at how much effort and energy is sometimes spent on practically useless activities and how little time is devoted to the most valuable art - the art of a long healthy life! The reason for this state of affairs is in our philistine logic: “a bird in the hand is better than a pie in the sky.” A reward delayed for forty years does not appeal to anyone, even if this reward is excellent health in one’s declining years.
All human needs can be placed on a small scale of values. The main ones are to breathe, drink, eat, reproduce, have fun... The need to be healthy takes a changing place.
A young and healthy person does not think about health, just as most of us do not think about the need to breathe. There is enough air and this need is satisfied by itself.
With age, everything changes. Health care comes to the fore - usually too late. There is a rather dark joke about this: you wake up, nothing hurts... You are in the next world.
Such a joke is possible in a society where most of the members suffer from chronic diseases, in a society with very poor medicine, in a society that does not care about people. It’s no secret that an epidemic is declared in our country, if 5% of the population falls ill with the flu, serious measures are immediately taken - vaccinations, vaccinations, quarantine...
But old age is a disease that causes one hundred percent mortality. Old age comes to all who live to see it. In 99% of elderly people, it is accompanied by excruciating pain, helplessness, loss of memory, hearing, and vision. And much less attention is paid to the problem of aging than to the flu or such a rare disease of our time as cholera. And very often the patient hears from the doctor that at this age all this is natural. That's the thing, it's unnatural! Unnatural and abnormal. At any age, a person can and should be healthy and live without suffering.
What to do and how to live so that in your declining years there is no excruciating pain? No, not for years spent aimlessly, as Nikolai Ostrovsky wrote, but simply so as not to suffer from chronic diseases. We need to take timely measures.
JOINTS HURT MOST OFTEN. Our whole life depends on the ability to move, which means it depends on our joints. A person’s biological age and the rate of his aging are 90% determined by the condition of the joints and spine, which is also a continuous chain of joints. Non-traumatic joint diseases develop over many years. The pain is either weak or at a subthreshold level. Due to the lack of strong incentives, potential patients simply do not turn to an orthopedist or surgeon. Early diagnosis of joint diseases is extremely poor. X-ray studies show changes in the joint many years after the onset of the disease. And if you remain able to work and don’t climb the wall in pain, then no one will take care of you. At a certain stage of the disease, a person’s motor activity sharply decreases, and the heart, lungs, and the entire body suffer.
