Bubnovsky simulator: design features and step-by-step instructions for making it yourself

Nowadays, many people suffer from diseases of the musculoskeletal system.
There are many ways to combat these ailments, from medications to surgery. Recently, the method developed by Dr. Bubnovsky has become increasingly widespread; how to make such a vn,-1 and other simulator yourself according to the drawings, find out in this article! This method has proven itself to be natural and as natural as possible, allowing you to cure joint diseases and other diseases of the spine without resorting to medications.

The main idea of the multifunctional simulator of Dr. Bubnovsky

Movement and physical activity are a prerequisite for maintaining health. Muscle work stimulates increased blood circulation, as a result, tissues are supplied with oxygen and nutrients, and metabolism is accelerated.

The same thing happens with lymph, another component of our body. In the process of physical activity, congestion caused by a sedentary lifestyle is eliminated, lymph begins to circulate intensively, normalizing various functions of the body.

However, not all people can move freely. Persons suffering from diseases of the joints (arthritis, salt deposits) and the spine (protrusions, hernias, osteochondrosis) experience severe pain when trying to perform physical exercises.

Painful sensations are most pronounced in the joints that have to support the weight of the body, and these do not only include the joints of the hands. Therefore, S. Bubnovsky developed the design of a simulator, during exercises on which the load caused by gravity is removed.

This is what Bubnovsky’s multifunctional simulator looks like

What diseases can be cured?

The exercises developed by Dr. Bubnovsky are performed by patients to treat osteochondrosis, various types of hernias, diseases of the hip, knee, elbow joints, dislocations, arthrosis, necrosis, and diseases of the musculoskeletal system. Traction of the spinal column and limbs according to the Bubnovsky system allows you to minimize the abrasion of cartilage in the joints.

The training design developed by Dr. Bubnovsky is intended for the treatment of diseases of the main muscle groups of the human body, as well as for the development and development of the muscles of the back and abdomen, forearms and arms, buttocks and thighs, corset and calf muscles.

Regular MTB exercises help cure adnexitis, prostatitis, hemorrhoids, impotence, headaches, depression, correct body weight, sleep disturbances, and relieve neuroses. Exercises also contribute to a speedy recovery after stroke and heart attacks, heart bypass surgery, internal organs and the spine.

In addition, Bubnovsky’s exercises are excellent preventive measures against varicose veins, coronary heart disease, curvature of the spinal column, gastritis, pancreatitis, colitis, prostatitis, diseases of the internal organs and upper respiratory tract, the genitourinary system, infertility, and ease pregnancy and menopause in women .

Thus, the Bubnovsky simulator is equipment for excellent physical training, which helps to normalize the functioning of all body systems.

Sports training device

When fully equipped, the Bubnovsky simulator consists of 4 vertical frames (arches), installed in pairs, one opposite the other, and a bench located between them. A block with a cable attached to it is attached to the crossbar of each frame. There is a weight fixed at one end of the cable, and a soft cuff at the other. Lying on a bench, the user places a cuff on each arm and leg.

Then the bench is removed, and the student remains suspended. In this position, the gravitational load from the joints and spine is removed, and the muscles are stretched, which is very beneficial for the body (this is the goal of most hatha yoga exercises).

The main goal of the Bubnovsky simulator is to remove the gravitational component

When trying to perform a particular movement, such as twisting, the user will have to lift weights, which will require muscle effort. At the same time, the joints are included in the work, and their condition will gradually return to normal.

At such a stand, patients undergo rehabilitation courses after injuries and operations, kinesitherapy (treatment by movement of diseases of the joints and spine, cardiovascular system and internal organs), disease prevention, therefore the Bubnovsky simulator is considered multifunctional (MTB).

The Bubnovsky simulator can be used by people of any age, starting from 6–7 years old

The fully equipped version (with 4 arches) is called MTB 1–4 or simply MTB-4. For many exercises, 1 or 2 arches, installed one opposite the other, are sufficient. Such modifications of the simulator are, respectively, MTB-1 and MTB-2.

What is needed for treatment to be effective?

Treatment according to the doctor’s method is carried out at several stages:

  1. stage. Consulting the patient, during which the doctor must conduct a personal examination, study the medical history, tests and examinations.
  2. stage. Conducting myofascial diagnostics, during which the doctor identifies areas that influence the course of the underlying disease.
  3. stage. Test session on the simulator.
  4. stage. A course of treatment.
  5. stage. As soon as the course of treatment is completed, a personal examination is carried out by the attending physician.

The doctor names conditions under which complete recovery is guaranteed - this is the desire to be cured. A person should strive to completely cure the disease by accurately performing the exercises.

Contraindications that are not available. Contraindications for treatment using the Bubnovsky method include: high fever, cancer, bleeding.

Understanding the non-rapid effect of treatment. It should be taken into account that the effect will not be visible immediately, but only after a certain time. The course of treatment involves twelve visits to the gym.

Only if you correctly, accurately and unquestioningly perform the exercises according to the doctor’s method, you can significantly improve the course of life in many diseases.

The cure of ailments with the help of MTB occurs according to a certain scheme. You should know this if you decide to study at home. Without this, training will either not have the desired effect on the affected areas, or will aggravate the pathology. During the treatment process, the patient goes through the following stages:

  1. An initial examination by a doctor is carried out, tests and examinations are prescribed.
  2. Diagnostic stage. The medical specialist identifies areas that are key to the development of the disease.
  3. The first trial training takes place under the supervision of a doctor.
  4. After correcting all movements, the patient undergoes the main course of treatment. It usually consists of 20 lessons.
  5. Examination of the patient, diagnosis of changes in the area of pathology.

From this diagram it becomes clear that self-medication without regular doctor’s supervision is unacceptable in this case. There are also a number of contraindications, in the presence of which activities of this kind are prohibited. The main ones are high temperature, bleeding, and neoplasms. Therefore, the specialist monitors the patient’s well-being during each session. This cannot be done at home.

It should also be understood that treatment does not occur instantly. Positive results can only be achieved if the exercises are performed regularly. They must be clearly aimed at eliminating the pathology. Therefore, key areas must be established during the survey process. Otherwise it will be a waste of time.

The selection of exercises is purely individual. Therefore, before collecting MTB yourself, you need to decide whether such savings are worth your own health. Self-medication can be quite dangerous.

Preparation before self-assembly

Before proceeding directly to the manufacture of the Bubnovsky simulator, the dimensions of the future structure are determined and the necessary materials, components and tools are prepared.

Dimensions

The height of the arches and the distance between them must correspond to the original version. The angle of the branch of the cables to which the cuffs are attached depends on this.

If the angle is not made as defined by S. Bubnovsky, you can not only weaken the therapeutic effect, but also make the simulator dangerous for injury.

One of the complete sets of the Bubnovsky MTB-1 multifunctional simulator

Arches are built 220 cm high and 70–80 cm wide.

When the simulator is equipped with one arch (MTB-1), its supports are made both straight and slanted. In the second case, the stand will be more stable, but will take up more space. Therefore, in conditions of limited space, a compact arch with straight supports is suitable.

Materials and components

To make the Bubnovsky multifunctional simulator with your own hands, the following materials and components are used:

  1. Arches are made of steel profiled pipe, the cross-section of which depends on the load used. If the weight of the weights on each of them does not exceed 105 kg, as in the original version of the simulator, then 60x60 mm pipes are used to make the arches. The exception is the single simulator MTB-1: with the same 105 kg of weight, the racks are made from a 40x40 mm pipe.
  2. Each block is equipped with a swivel (connecting element) for free rotation around a vertical axis.

    The swivel provides arbitrary rotation of the movable block around the vertical axis

  3. The cables are made of metal, designed for the weight of the weights used. A carabiner is attached to one end of each cable to attach the cuffs. The cuff is attached to the carabiner using a steel ring 3–5 mm thick.
  4. For the manufacture of cuffs, a durable but soft material is used that does not leave calluses. In the original, they are made from leather and lined with suede on the inside. The cuff is an important part, since if it ruptures, a suspended user may fall and be injured.

    The cuff must be made of quality materials

    It is better to purchase factory-made cuffs, which come in two sizes: 29x6x1 cm and 33x10x2 cm. They are made soft (withstand weight up to 120 kg) and hard (used for legs and withstand weight up to 150 kg). The cost of one factory-made cuff is 890–900 rubles.

  5. To make a bench you will need the following materials:
      steel strip 40x4 mm;
  6. profile pipe with a wall thickness of 2 mm;
  7. equal-flange steel angle 32x32 mm;
  8. square pipe 40x40 mm;
  9. chipboard (chipboard or OSB) 20 mm thick;
  10. foam;
  11. a piece of leatherette (for upholstery).

Additionally, some exercises will require:

  • chains that act as cable extensions;
  • handles (made from steel rod);
  • rug;
  • leather sandals.

In some cases, expanders with different numbers of rubber bands are used (length without handles - 1.25 m). The original expander costs 280 rubles. A product with 4 tourniquets is recommended for use by men, with 3 - for women and adolescents, with 1 or 2 - for people recovering from injury (dislocation, fracture), stroke, or with intervertebral herniation.

Tools

To make a simulator you will need the following tools:

  • measuring tool;
  • a grinder with cutting wheels or a hacksaw for metal;
  • welding machine;
  • electric drill;
  • file.

How does a MTB trainer work?

To construct a Bubnovsky simulator with your own hands, first of all, you need to consider its design and principle of operation. This device consists of a metal frame, frame and weights, the weight of which is selected individually. It is easy to practice on the Bubnovsky simulator at home if you attach it to the wall or on the floor.

The MTB simulator or apparatus is based on two basic principles:

  1. Antigravity.
  2. Decompression.

Antigravity assumes that the body will be above the ground during gymnastics. This position reduces the load on the musculoskeletal system and promotes easier stretching of muscles and ligaments. The second principle relieves pressure on the patient’s joints, which slows down and prevents premature aging of cartilage tissue.

There are 4 types of Bubnovsky simulator:

  1. MTB-1 is a compact Bubnovsky simulator for the home, as its dimensions are only 0.7x0.8x2.2 m and its weight is 135 kg. MTB-1 is made of a metal profile measuring 40x40.
  2. MTB-2 - this massive model will require more space, not since its dimensions are significantly increased: height 225 cm, length 335 cm, width 90 cm, and the weight of the device is about 300 kg. The structure is made of a profile with a section of 60×60, consists of a double block frame, a metal cable, blocks and two cargo stacks.
  3. MTB-4 is another lightweight model with compact dimensions: width is only 0.6 m, length is 1.25 m, the total weight of the device is only 105 kg. The cargo stack is also relatively light in weight - 60 kg. Designed for the rehabilitation of weakened patients and disabled people.
  4. AERO MTB-1 is a more advanced model that allows you to increase the range of various exercises. The total weight of the structure is 80 kg, while the external and vertical posts are equipped with comfortable handles in order to fix the body in the required position.

Elderly people, people weakened by illness and children are better off choosing lightweight models. And for loading, purchase light weights of 1 or 2.5 kg.

However, it is not necessary to buy a ready-made simulator. It is quite possible to make an original design yourself and install it at home, adjusting it to your individual characteristics in order to perform gymnastics in complete comfort.

But before you make a Bubnovsky simulator for home use, you need to know some features: how and why to use the design, what to make it from?

How to make a Bubnovsky House simulator according to a drawing with your own hands

The design of the simulator is relatively simple for self-production. Below is the sequence of actions.

Bench

Stages of making a bench:

  1. The profile pipe for the frame and the angle are cut into blanks, then holes are drilled in them according to the drawing.
  2. Next, assembly begins. In places subject to the greatest loads, the workpieces are connected by welding, in other places (parts responsible for adjusting the position) - by bolts.
  3. The finished frame is treated with a primer and painted.
  4. A seat and backrest made of chipboard or OSB are bolted to the frame. The holes in these parts are drilled so that the bolt heads are hidden.
  5. Foam rubber is glued to the back and seat, after which leatherette upholstery is laid, which is attached to the chipboard from below with a construction stapler.

Arches

Each arch is a U-shaped structure, which is formed from sections of 60x60 mm profile pipe by welding. A block with a swivel is screwed to the top crossbar. The bottom “legs” of the arches are equipped with support plates.

A total of 4 arches will be needed. They are installed in pairs opposite each other. Each pair is connected from above by a horizontal section of profile pipe, which is welded to the crossbars of the arches. Then the sections are connected to each other using two more sections, so that the result is a single frame structure.

This is what the frame structure of the MTB 1–4 trainer looks like after assembly

Barbell plates are used as weighting agents. The holder for them is made from a piece of pipe, to which a metal plate is welded on one side. It is this design that will support the weight of the pancakes placed on the holder, so special attention is paid to welding.

On the other side of the pipe-holder, two holes located opposite each other are drilled in the walls. A bolt is inserted here, which will simultaneously be threaded into the loop of the cable (it needs to be inserted inside the holder) and thus secure the holder with pancakes to the cable.
