Various methods are used in medicine to treat joints; physiotherapeutic treatment gives good results. Let's consider the effect of the Delta device on the joints.
Pathologies of joint tissues are a fairly common relapse. Many medical centers offer patients various drugs that can provide quick relief from inflammatory processes inside the articular surfaces. However, different joint diseases cannot be treated with the same method; each person requires an individual approach and his own medication, physiotherapy and other treatment methods.
Indeed, in addition to diseases of the joint tissues, the patient also has other concomitant pathologies, and these ailments have contraindications to one or another treatment option, which must be taken into account. One of the alternative methods of treating these ailments is the Delta device. The Delta ultrasound device is intended for physiotherapeutic procedures. It is used for complex therapy of joints. Read more about it below.
Ultrasound therapy in medical cosmetology

How to treat yourself at home (and with what)
You and I are people who are already accustomed to the fact that for all kinds of new products and miracle mechanisms, the creators try to get a richer jackpot.
By putting an exorbitant price tag on their invention, sellers lose sight of the fact that, no matter what useful properties this technological innovation may have, mere mortal users are not ready to pay several hundred thousand for it.
In the case of Delta Combi, the situation is completely different. To become the proud owner of this device you will have to pay a little more than 19,000 rubles (by the way, you can do it in installments without a percentage). Agree that the amount is more than adequate. By the way, there is a pleasant New Year’s surprise for our readers (details at the end of the article).

We still have a lot to learn
One of the main questions is the severity of the infection caused by the new strain - is delta more likely to cause severe disease? Current data from hospitalized patients in the UK suggests that this variant may indeed be more pathogenic. Although more research is needed, early evidence from a Scottish study suggests that delta virus is twice as likely to cause hospitalization in unvaccinated patients compared to alpha virus.
There is also emerging evidence that the clinical picture of the delta variant differs from the primary strain. The new virus appears to be less likely to cause coughing and loss of smell, and the main symptoms of the disease are headache, runny nose, sore throat and fever.
In addition, questions remain about the need for additional vaccination against delta and the characteristics of the so-called “delta plus” strain.
How does it work
The unique properties of ultrasound have long been used in medicine not only for diagnosis, but also for the treatment and prevention of diseases. High-frequency ultrasonic waves are widely used in cosmetology and dentistry (ultrasonic facial cleansing, professional teeth cleaning, etc.).
A home ultrasound machine generates ultrasonic vibrations with a frequency of up to 1000 Hz (1 MHz). Conductive ultrasound gel prevents wave reflection and allows all generated acoustic energy to be directed into the body through the skin. Sound waves penetrate tissue structures to a depth of 1 to 8-9 cm, and cause a whole complex of processes in them, which, acting together, cause the following beneficial changes:
- improvement of microcirculation;
- stimulating blood and lymph circulation;
- acceleration of regeneration processes;
- removing excess fluid, relieving swelling;
- improvement of metabolism;
- elimination of inflammation;
- pain relief;
- production of joy hormones;
- changes in cell membranes (ultrasound makes them more permeable to medications applied topically through the skin).
Ultrasound therapy devices are used in sports medicine and are part of some cosmetic treatment methods. AUZT "Delta" is used during the period of post-traumatic and postoperative rehabilitation, accelerates the healing time and regeneration of tissues, and prevents the appearance of rough scars.
The use of ultrasound is widely known not only for diagnostic procedures, but also for therapeutic and preventive purposes. Ultrasonic waves have found their application in cosmetology. An ultrasonic wave device used at home allows you to direct the generated energy inside the body. Ultrasound waves penetrate to a depth of 9 cm, causing the following processes that have a beneficial effect on the affected joints:
- Blood microcirculation improves;
- Lymphatic circulation is stimulated;
- Regenerative processes are accelerated;
- Excess fluid is removed, swelling is eliminated;
- Metabolic processes improve;
- Inflammatory processes are eliminated;
- Relieves pain;
- Hormones of joy are produced, which improves the patient’s condition;
- The cell membrane changes, which allows for better delivery of local medications to deeper layers.

Why and why?
Pain due to damage to the musculoskeletal system is one of the most common reasons for patients to visit not only a doctor, but also a pharmacist at a pharmacy. Since the range of diseases accompanied by pain is extremely wide, there are a lot of requests from patients to the pharmacy asking for drugs “for pain in the joints, back, and neck.” Let's try to figure out what can be advised to a patient with pain syndrome in addition to the treatment prescribed by the doctor or for independent use in case of sudden pain.
What diseases of the musculoskeletal system can cause pain?
The most common causes of pain are joint damage of various etiologies: rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthrosis, spondyloarthropathy (degenerative processes in the joints and ligaments of the spine), etc., as well as associated inflammatory processes of soft tissues, the so-called periarticular pathologies: tendonitis (inflammation of tissue tendons), tenosynovitis, tenosynovitis (inflammation of the tissue and tendon sheath), bursitis (inflammation of the synovial bursae), etc. The severity of pain can vary - from moderate and transient with traumatic lesions to chronic pain that worsens the quality of life. At the same time, there is a sharp restriction of movement. The usual routine changes especially when large joints are affected - hip, knee, shoulder. According to statistics, lesions of large joints are observed more often in women; the incidence naturally increases with age.
In most cases, the chronic nature of pain is associated with the development of inflammation in the synovium of the joints (synovitis). For example, even osteoarthritis, which is usually classified as a degenerative joint disease, in the vast majority of situations is accompanied by the development of synovitis.
Why are joint lesions widespread and observed even at a young age?
In addition to a sedentary lifestyle, which leads to the triggering of dystrophic changes in the joints, hereditary factors and injuries, including chronic, congenital anomalies of the spine that disrupt the biomechanics of the spinal column, and metabolic disorders (intoxications, endocrine disorders, etc.) are also important.
In addition, at the initial stages of the pathological process, when it is still possible to effectively stop it, clinical manifestations are practically not observed or they go unnoticed. For this reason, people go to the doctor already having a whole range of pathologies - both degenerative-dystrophic processes in the joints and concomitant pathologies of soft tissues. In this condition, the pain syndrome is usually significant, and the patient suffers from all sorts of restrictions.
What is the treatment for these pathologies?
Treatment is always complex. The basic part consists of prescribing medications specific to a particular condition (for example, chondroprotectors for osteoarthritis, agents that improve tissue trophism, etc.). Additionally, physical therapy (laser therapy, electrophoresis) may be prescribed, and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, orally and externally, are mandatory to relieve pain.
Why do NSAIDs occupy a leading position in their prescription for various diseases of the joints and concomitant pathologies of soft tissues?
The drugs in this group have a complex effect: analgesic, anti-inflammatory effect. However, along with other drugs, patients are always recommended to use topical NSAID-based drugs, which provide significant relief with less likelihood of dangerous side effects that are characteristic of the vast majority of oral forms of NSAIDs. The result of application depends on many factors: on the active substance used in the drug and its concentration - it should penetrate as deeply as possible into the affected tissues and have an analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect, as well as on the choice of dosage form.
What can be recommended to a patient with pain in addition to the basic treatment of these pathologies?
A good example of a drug for local treatment of pain (for diseases of the joints and soft tissues) is the Deep Relief gel, which meets all the requirements for a modern topical drug based on NSAIDs. Firstly, the main active ingredient of the drug is ibuprofen - one of the most well-studied non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs with a high safety profile, found in the drug in the maximum effective concentration (5%). Additionally, menthol (3%) was added to the composition, which potentiates the analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects of ibuprofen. When applied, a pleasant cooling effect is observed due to the locally irritating effect of menthol (levorotatory isomer). Secondly, the external dosage form - gel - promotes rapid and complete penetration of active substances through the skin and is more preferable than ointment or cream, due to the speed of action and favorable consumer characteristics: easy to apply, quickly absorbed, does not leave marks on the skin and clothes .
It is important that Deep Relief can be used independently by the patient - it belongs to the group of over-the-counter drugs. It is necessary to apply a small amount of gel (3–4 cm) in a thin layer to the skin over the affected joint up to 4 times a day. In case of severe pain and active inflammation, you should consult your doctor.
The use of Deep Relief gel to relieve pain in diseases of the joints and concomitant pathologies of soft tissues can reduce its severity, as well as reduce the negative impact of constantly occurring pain on a person’s emotional state. Deep Relief can be used not only to treat chronic pathologies, but also to relieve pain from sports and household injuries - sprains and bruises.
Arthrosis of the acromioclavicular joint
If there is acute, regularly occurring pain in the joint, the doctor can reasonably prescribe medications to the patient for internal injection into the joint cavity. Such medications belong to the group of glucocorticosteroids, such as:
- "Diprospan".
- "Celeston."
- "Kenalog."
- "Hydrocortisone."
This method of taking medicinal units significantly increases the efficiency of joint restoration and acts as a kind of “liquid prosthesis” for the bone. In some cases, it is possible to relieve pain in the problem anatomical area. Drugs that restore the joint structure include:
- "Synvisk";
- "Ostenil";
- "Fermaton";
- "Duralan."
A significant disadvantage of these forms is their inflated prices.
Medicines for ligaments and joints in the pharmacy: a review of the best remedies
What drugs are best to choose for restoring ligaments and all joints, what is their difference, and how to use them correctly?
Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Diclofenac, Indomethacin, Nimesulide, Diflunisal, Aceclofenac, Sulindac, Etodolac, Ketoprofen, Flurbiprofen, Nabumetone.
Effectively fight pain:
DMARDs – disease modifying antirheumatoid drugs
These medications have very few contraindications, have almost no side effects and are not addictive.
Chondroprotectors
The most commonly prescribed drugs are:
Chondrolone, Structum, Artra, drug for joints Don, Teraflex, Elbona, Chondroitin AKOS.
Glucocorticosteroids
Thanks to their additional introduction into the body, it is possible to control the inflammatory process and fight pain.
Corticosteroids are available in various forms:
The most common drugs are Diprospan, Metipred, Celiston, Prelnisolone.
Indomethacin in different forms of release
From the very beginning of treatment with this drug, peripheral circulation and kidney and liver function should be monitored.
Popular devices for treating joints at home
For joint diseases, it is usually necessary to undergo a course of physiotherapy. Procedures must be regular. At the same time, the process itself takes quite a short time, so going to the clinic every day for one physiotherapy session is not very convenient. But life can be made easier if you buy a physiotherapy device that allows you to be treated at home.
Conducting physiotherapy sessions at home is very convenient
We offer an overview of the most popular physiotherapy devices. Choose the one that suits you best. This could be an ultrasound device for physical therapy at home or a device with a slightly different effect. In any case, before use, do not forget to consult a physiotherapist to avoid the risk of harm to health.
Medicines for gout: review of the best pills and remedies
Gout or gouty arthritis - this disease is mentioned in ancient medical tomes.
To effectively combat the disease, doctors use both long-proven and completely new anti-inflammatory drugs.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJx-HHFzYpU
Treatment of gouty arthritis occurs in two stages:
- First, pain in the legs is eliminated, swelling and redness are relieved. In other words, the symptoms of gout are eliminated first.
- The second stage of treatment consists of prescribing medications that reduce the concentration of uric acid in the body, that is, they act on the cause of gouty arthritis. This measure is necessary to reduce the frequency of gout attacks.
Like the best remedy, medications for gout should be prescribed in combination. If a short-term therapeutic course is expected, the doctor prescribes the patient anti-inflammatory medications that act directly on the source of inflammation and pain. Most often these are non-steroidal drugs.
The use of regular aspirin can only increase the symptoms of the disease. In this case, the best pills for gout are Colchicine. In addition, diuretics and activated charcoal are prescribed. Corticosteroids are injected directly into the affected joint.
Tablets for gout containing hormones are indicated in situations where treatment with non-hormonal drugs has not brought results or the patient has certain contraindications to NSAIDs.
Anti-inflammatory non-steroidal ointments, drugs and some diuretics are contraindicated if the patient's medical history includes chronic kidney failure or various diseases of the gastrointestinal tract accompanied by bleeding.
For long-term treatment of gout on the legs, not only drugs that inhibit the synthesis of uric acid are prescribed, but also those drugs for gout that promote its rapid elimination from the body (diuretics).
If treatment is started in a timely manner, the patient may feel relief within 24 hours. The doctor prescribes the patient a single dose of the maximum dose of the drug. After the acute pain is relieved, the dosage of the medication is gradually reduced.
The people were taken aback! Joints will recover in 3 days! Attach...
Few people know, but this is exactly what heals joints in 7 days!
Any diuretics have certain contraindications. Therefore, when prescribing them, the doctor should not doubt that the diagnosis is correct.
To combat the attacks of gouty arthritis, pharmaceutical companies around the world are constantly working on new effective drugs, trying to create the perfect cure for gout. Today there are many such drugs.
Doctors recommend the following medications to their patients:
- Fenofibrate. The medicine helps remove uric acid from the body and affects some fats in the blood.
- Losartan. The medication is also used to treat hypertension.
- Febuxostat (Y-700). Reduces the concentration of uric acid in the blood and urine.
- Urate oxidase is an analogue of Fenofibrate.
These medications are prescribed if the doctor cannot prescribe Allopurinol to the patient.
“Delta”: to catch the virus at the entrance, you need a high titer of antibodies
Since the coronavirus is still spreading here, and especially in the capital, the authorities in Moscow and a number of regions were forced to introduce mandatory vaccination for certain categories. In addition, it is no longer possible to enter Moscow cafes and restaurants without a special QR code indicating that you have been vaccinated or have had a previous illness.
The numbers, meanwhile, are bad. Now approximately 25 thousand people fall ill per day, almost 700 die. An absolute record for the entire pandemic. The good news is that many citizens have finally awakened to responsibility for their lives and for their loved ones. People flocked to the vaccination points.
Covid vaccinations are being put on a waiting list. Everything is thought out in advance, chewed over, experienced. A decision that can no longer be put off. Living in anticipation of a thunderstorm, the country is plunging into the third wave of the pandemic.
This could have been done earlier, when there were no queues and doctors persuaded people to come to vaccination points to stop the viral storm. Belatedly, we are again plunging into Covid madness, clinging to the weak beat of life.
“We understand the development of the situation. She is changing for the worse. There are more patients, they are heavier, younger, and they do not respond as well to the treatment that is being given. This is actually true,” said Valery Vechorko, chief physician of City Clinical Hospital No. 15.
We usually do not show the faces of patients. But in these eyes there is the undistorted gaze of Covid. The girl is 34 years old. Stewardess. She fell ill in May, while in late pregnancy. On June 1, a daughter was born. On the 13th, the woman had a stroke and cerebral edema. Trepanation.
— Why did the stroke occur? She is 34 years old.
- There is thrombophilia. Initially, the hemostatic system is compromised. Covid, of course, is a problem that contributes to increased blood clotting; one factor is layered on top of another,” explained Dmitry Ivanov, anesthesiologist and resuscitator at City Clinical Hospital No. 15.
Meeting Covid at a turning point turned her future into complete uncertainty: will she get up or not? Will he remember his loved ones? Will he be able to speak? Will he hold his newborn daughter in his arms? Covid is not interested in this. He frantically swallows the lives of the young.
“You were in the “red” zone, you saw patients. Have you seen their ages? 28-30 years old. 180 patients are in intensive care today. This is a lot,” said Valery Vechorko.
The Krasnoyarsk regional hospital has run out of intensive care beds. They can no longer accept severe patients from remote areas - there is nowhere to go.
“This is also probably a feature of the third wave - the need for intensive care beds is much higher than in the second wave. This is due to modification of the virus, because the disease has become more severe in patients,” noted Egor Korchagin, chief physician of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Clinical Hospital.
But the air ambulance planes still take off: on board there are oxygen cylinders and boxes in which Covid patients are transported.
The Turukhansk regional hospital was already waiting for this flight. Two patients need to be evacuated urgently. It has its own Covid department with ten beds. But there is no way to care for severe cases.
“There could have been more deaths if such a structure of interaction had not been established. These patients required a large number of intensive care beds, which we do not have,” said Anna Gladkova, chief physician of the Turukhansk Regional Hospital.
During the second wave of Covid alone, they sent 40 patients to Krasnoyarsk. They themselves could barely stand it when 12-16 people arrived a day. The cramped chambers did not accommodate. There is one infectious disease specialist for the entire department. They can no longer withstand the third wave.
Nina Plotnikova became infected from her husband. They made her feel worse every day. They brought me by helicopter to the Turukhansk hospital, now they will urgently send me by plane to Krasnoyarsk - they don’t leave here.
The hospital does not have a CT scanner - only X-rays. But viral lung damage cannot be seen in a black and white photograph. The doctor measures the saturation - low. And the heart beats sometimes quickly, sometimes slowly.
You need to get used to these boxes. It seems scary to be locked alone with your illness. They will first be treated with a disinfecting solution, loaded into ambulances and rushed to the airfield.
In sealed boxes, patients are lifted on board through the open ramp of the aircraft. Each of them has an oxygen cylinder. They breathe with the help of masks. When the An-26 gains altitude, the atmospheric pressure will decrease. For patients with respiratory failure, this can be a critical moment - blood oxygen saturation will drop sharply.
Krasnoyarsk is one and a half thousand kilometers away. We fly over the wild taiga, cutting through the crush of noctilucent clouds with our blades. Three circles of the minute hand. Three hours between heaven and earth, like between life and death.
— What difficulties do you encounter when transporting patients?
— These are patients with respiratory failure. which can quickly get worse. We are faced with the fact that overweight people and people with diabetes are sick. And sometimes it’s very difficult to put a person in a box - it doesn’t fit,” said Konstantin Baryshnikov, head of the air ambulance department of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
The Krasnoyarsk Territory stretches over three thousand kilometers - from north to south. It goes to the Arctic, to the shores of the Arctic Ocean, where there are no roads - only air corridors open to air ambulance aircraft.
— What are the weak points of local healthcare?
- For example, one anesthesiologist. When there are a lot of patients, one specialist cannot cope with these patients. Also the presence of breathing equipment. 1-2 devices, and patients keep coming and coming, says Konstantin Baryshnikov.
During the flight, Plotnikov will replace oxygen cylinders several times. At the Krasnoyarsk airport, intensive care vehicles will be waiting for them. And within half an hour after landing they will be taken to the regional hospital.
To enter the Covid hospital, we dress up. This is the first time we have been given such masks. They were nicknamed “daisies.” We also see signed respirators for the first time. Notches are drawn on the bridge of the nose with a marker: each stroke is an entrance to the “red” zone. At the exit, they are collected and quartzed, so that they can be given out to doctors again. One respirator can be used seven times.
Beds with armored nets are carried throughout the floors. They are carving out free space so that they can still receive patients. The corridors and departments where students used to study are occupied. Even the warehouses were converted into wards.
— There are not enough places in the wards. There are patients here who do not require oxygen support. There are about 15 beds here,” explains Ilya Kulga, head of the basic infectious diseases hospital.
— Do you have somewhere to condense?
— As practice shows, there is. We always find somewhere to put patients. The hospital is full. Each bed gets harder and harder to squeeze in.
In the corridor we accidentally meet Nina Plotnikova, who the day before was taken out of Turukhansk on an air ambulance flight. She lies in line, waiting for a place in the ward to become available.
There are 10-12 people in the wards. They even lie on couches. There were more critically ill patients on oxygen during the third wave. Now two hoses are connected to one tap. The Krasnoyarsk plant, which supplies liquefied oxygen, is already working at its limit. Novosibirsk refused supplies - there is only enough for its region.
“Oxygen consumption has increased simply enormously. at some pace, because there are more patients who constantly need it,” said Artem Arkhipov, deputy chief physician for surgery of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Clinical Hospital.
New strains of the virus have changed the picture of the disease. If in the first wave corona was recognized by its characteristic cough and high fever, now COVID-19 has a different face. It's more like a common cold. Especially in young patients.
“In the second wave, we saw more violations of hemostasis, thrombosis, and there were a large number of hemorrhages in these patients. Now we see a large number, along with what we have, of cognitive impairment, up to hysterical states, memory loss,” noted Irina Demko, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Hospital Therapy and Immunology of Krasnoyarsk State Medical University, Chief Non-Staff Pulmonologist of the Siberian Federal District .
The Indian Delta variant is twice as infectious as the British variant. And it was four times higher than the Wuhan one. This explains the rapid development of the disease. To catch the virus at the entrance, you must constantly have a high level of antibodies, because even in vaccinated people, memory cells are sometimes late, not having time to develop protection.
“If against the Wuhan strain, in addition to a high antibody titer, we also had memory cells that worked during this time, and they need two days, to raise the required level of antibodies, this does not happen with the Indian strain. It conducts its infectious process actually inside the cell, dissolving neighboring cells and thereby shielding itself from the antibodies that are in our bloodstream. Therefore, you can protect yourself from it by constantly maintaining a high level of ready-made antibodies. Because if the memory cells work, they will work only when it has already penetrated the cells,” emphasized Alexander Gintsburg, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Director of the N. F. Gamaleya Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology.
Revaccination has already begun in Russia. In the army, where more than 90% of military personnel were vaccinated with the classic Sputnik, Sputnik Light is now used. The one-component vaccine can also be given in city clinics. Migrants are also vaccinated with this drug.
“The situation now is very difficult. To overcome the pandemic, we need to get as many people vaccinated as possible. The faster collective immunity is formed, the faster we will return to our usual way of life. An example would be Iceland, where almost 90% of the population has currently been vaccinated, all restrictions have been lifted, including the mask regime,” said Alexander Gorelov, deputy director for scientific work of the Central Research Institute of Epidemiology of Rospotrebnadzor.
“It is very important that if the population is vaccinated, the likelihood of severe disease in those vaccinated is practically zero. This is not just a guarantee that a person will get sick, it is a guarantee that even if he gets sick, and there is still a small chance, it will not be a severe disease,” said RAS President Alexander Sergeev.
The Covid surge hit suddenly while people were reeling, hesitating whether to get vaccinated. The third wave has swept across the Russian regions. Now not only Moscow, St. Petersburg and the Moscow region are on the front line. In Krasnoyarsk, a student dormitory is being used as a Covid hospital.
“A particular citizen must understand for himself that if he does not want to end up on the floor in the hospital, because there simply are not enough beds, if he does not want to wait in line for a ventilator, because someone has not died there yet and he just needs wait until someone dies, then he must make for himself, in my opinion, two decisions. The first thing is to get vaccinated. Secondly, now is not the best time to hang out in hypermarkets or attend any events where people who are carriers of the infection may be present. And in this sense, it is absolutely pointless to shout about the fact that we are tired of isolation,” says Yegor Korchagin, chief physician of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Clinical Hospital.
The regional hospital has stopped scheduled care - there are not enough doctors in the infectious diseases hospital. Surgeons and gynecologists are again going to treat Covid. They lost 11 employees last year. For 57 days the entire hospital fought for the life of Professor Fyodor Kapsargin. For them, Fyodor Petrovich was the closest. Family of doctors. The daughter followed in her father's footsteps. My wife has been wearing a white coat all her life. They were orphaned in an instant when the doctor’s heart stopped in the intensive care unit of the Covid hospital.
The pain, covered by time, but not healed, still reminds itself and causes new wounds. The thunder of the pandemic is intensifying. The great fear of death makes people come to their senses and stand in line for the vaccine, because nothing is completely lost while a person is alive.

Delta - a medicine for joints: principle of action, advantages of treatment with the device
The ultrasound device is perfect for home physiotherapy in combination with other drugs; its effect on diseased joints is based on low-frequency impulses and ultraphonoresis. Delta is used for both preventive and therapeutic purposes for various ailments, especially for pathologies of the musculoskeletal column. Another modern invention is effective in the treatment of bone tissue, ligaments, and joints after injuries. The device is recommended for women to solve cosmetic problems.
Therapy of the joints of the lower extremities
If you also use this device along with medications, then inflammation, swelling, and stiffness in movement will go away much faster than with therapy with medications alone. The electrical device has a monopolar, low-frequency, pulsed effect on different systems of the patient’s body. Thanks to this action, antiphlins and endorphins (hormones of joy) are formed in the body, in addition, painful sensations disappear and against the background of all this, restorative reactions develop in bone, joint, and cartilaginous tissues.
All these processes cause the patient a rapid relief of the general condition, and then a complete recovery. The period of remission will last much longer if a person does not forget to take preventive measures for diseases of the joint tissues.
To understand how ultrasound works, you need to know how it affects the body. Ultrasound has a complex effect. Not only does it have a tonic, anti-inflammatory effect, it also enhances the diffusion effect of components in many systems of the human body. Thanks to this, the cell bodies are well saturated with the substances necessary for therapy. It is this action that allows, using the ultrasonic effect, to deliver medications into cell membranes without damaging the skin. The procedure is called phonoresis. Ultrasonic waves can thus allow drugs to penetrate six centimeters deep.
How does electrical neurostimulation produce happiness hormones?
Low frequency pulses penetrate the epidermis and stimulate nerve endings. And they, in turn, send a message to the brain, and the pain in the back and joints goes away. At the same time, joy hormones are produced; they have a sedative effect on the body as a whole.
Advantages of using the Delta device:
- The device has three modes: ultrasonic waves, electrical neurostimulation (transcutaneous), ultraphonophoresis.
- The device can immediately relieve pain and provide treatment for inflammation, because it has the function of treating sore joints with pulse treatment and phonophoresis.
- This device does not require much space, is easy to use, and can be taken with you on trips to the country, etc. Therefore, the patient will not miss a course of therapy.
- It is often used to treat sports injuries. And also for the treatment of other patients after bruises and damage to articular and bone surfaces.
- In addition to joint diseases, the device can eliminate small scars, cellulite, wrinkles and fight excess weight.
- Patients have different sensitivities; the device has five levels of ultrasonic power.
- Even a schoolchild can figure out how to use it. Everything is clear and clearly described in the instructions, and there are only three buttons on the panel of the device itself.
- The kit includes a gel that conducts ultrasonic waves.
Delta Combi for ultrasound therapy
What is Delta Combi especially strong against?
These words must be taken literally. Delta Combi will help you if you suffer from diseases of the musculoskeletal system, peripheral nervous system, bronchopulmonary system, gastrointestinal tract, genitourinary system, hearing organs, throat, nose, skin and subcutaneous fat, for example, cellulite.
Yes, yes, there is a comfortable and painless treatment . And, if anything, it was this point that became decisive for me in the matter of purchasing the device. And also back pain - it was just tormenting!
Instructions for use
There is nothing complicated in operating the device. On its body there is a panel consisting of several buttons. Using it, you can turn the device on and off, select the desired mode, change the radiation intensity depending on the individual sensitivity of the skin. The Combi device is equipped with a small monitor that displays the program used, power and exposure time.
The advantage of Delta is that the modes can be combined with each other. Thus, to eliminate pain, swelling and inflammation, it is recommended to use low-frequency ultrasound mode.
Using the device in ultrasonic mode is as follows:
- Connect the network adapter: the first end to the device, the second to the power source (220V).
- A topical preparation (cream, gel, ointment) is applied to the skin.
- The device is turned on using the button on the control panel, the desired mode and strength of influence are selected.
- The device is slowly moved over the surface of the skin in vertical or circular movements. They don’t stop at 1st place for long.
- At the end of the procedure, press the power off button and disconnect the device from the network. Remains of the medicine are removed with a clean and dry towel.
Before performing electrotherapy, you need to remove the electrodes from the box and attach them to the problem area of the body. It is also possible to use low frequency current and ultrasonic waves simultaneously. In this case, the electrodes are attached to the body and the combined mode is selected on the control panel.
Hardware therapy using Delta is carried out in courses from 10 to 30 days. The number of courses for chronic joint diseases can reach 7 pcs. per year with equal intervals between them.
Experts recommend 1 to 3 sessions per day. The main thing is that the exposure time does not exceed 10 minutes. The duration of treatment depends on how many procedures are performed per day:
- with 1 procedure per day, Delta is used for 1 month;
- with 2 sessions, therapy is carried out for 20 days;
- with 3 procedures, the duration of treatment is reduced to 10 days.
How I controlled this device
It is very helpful that the Delta Combi has very modest dimensions and weighs just over a kilogram. During the procedure, the hand does not have time to get tired. This model is thought out to the smallest detail - there is nothing superfluous. I, like many girls, have a hard time communicating with technology, so I don’t like it when there are extra buttons or dubious holes.
Delta has a convenient display that displays the selected program and its characteristics, and only 4 buttons, including on/off. The thickness of the handle is optimal, easily fits in a woman’s hand and fits comfortably in a man’s palm.
Effect of magnetic field
Alternating and constant magnetic fields induced by physiotherapeutic devices can have both local and general effects on the body:
- Pain relief;
- Relieving swelling and inflammation;
- Restoring vascular elasticity;
- Normalization of cartilage and muscle functions;
- Strengthening local blood circulation;
- Acceleration of the production of collagen and elastin - fibrillar proteins that make up connective tissue.
The main principle of the magnetic field is to change the potential of cell membranes and enhance the activity of antioxidants in the blood, which promotes the restoration of damaged tissues. Regular physiotherapeutic procedures help normalize the nutrition of muscles and ligaments, thereby restoring mobility and strength of joints, increasing the amount of synovial fluid and the rate of elimination of toxins in case of infectious joint damage.
In case of fractures and severe damage to bones and bone joints, the magnetic field stimulates osteosynthesis, prevents the growth of osteophytes and the development of joint contracture, and significantly reduces the duration of the rehabilitation period.
Characteristics of the device and mechanism of action
The Delta device is based on the use of ultrasound with a frequency of 1000 kHz. It has the following therapeutic effects:
- Massage - thanks to acoustic vibrations;
- Thermal – since acoustic energy turns into thermal;
- Piezoelectric – caused by a change in the eclectic potential of the cells of the affected joints;
- Physical.
Delta Combi operates in several modes:
- Ultrasound therapy;
- TENS, transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation;
- Combined, in which the effect is carried out in the mode of electrotherapy with ultrasound.
Each mode is designed for a specific type of impact
Using the Delta device, medications can be delivered deep into the skin, which is especially important when treating joints. Thanks to its ease of use, the device can be used not only in a hospital, clinic, sanatorium, but also at home
The duration of exposure and its intensity are adjusted based on the sensitivity of the patient.
There are several types of Delta apparatus used for joint therapy:
- The ultrasonic physiotherapeutic device “Delta” provides a therapeutic effect using ultrasonic waves. Today, its average price fluctuates around 15,200 rubles;
- The ultrasonic combined therapeutic device "Delta Combi" is used in 2 functions: electrotherapy and ultrasound, which significantly increases its effectiveness. The effect is achieved by gluing electrodes. The average cost is 19,200 rubles.
Delta is a small oblong device, which is controlled using a convenient panel. The device is sold complete with contact gel, electrodes (Combi), and mains adapter.
The therapeutic and preventive effect of the device is based on the use of ultrasound with a frequency of 1000 kHz. The waves penetrate deep into the tissue (up to 9 cm), improve the functioning of various systems and organs. Directed impact of energy leads to the following results:
- elimination of painful sensations;
- suppression of inflammatory processes;
- improvement of lymph and blood circulation;
- elimination of edema by removing excess fluid;
- production of joy hormones, improvement of psycho-emotional state;
- normalization of metabolic processes;
- rapid restoration of damaged tissues.
When using the device, the skin becomes more sensitive to drug therapy. Therefore, doctors recommend using the device in combination with medications: ointments, gels, creams. Under the influence of ultrasound, the active components of the drugs penetrate into the deep layers of the skin and act in the affected area.
Operating principle
The Delta device uses ultrasound at a frequency of 1000 kHz. The therapeutic effect is exerted by:
- Mechanical acoustic vibrations (massage).
- Thermal effect (from the conversion of acoustic energy into thermal energy in body tissues).
- Piezoelectric effect (ultrasound changes the electrical potential of cell membranes).
- Physical and chemical effects.
Under the influence of the “Delta” apparatus, medications (with ultraphonophoresis) penetrate faster and deeper through the skin into deeper tissues. The device has proven effective in treating various stages of diseases (acute, chronic, fading and remission). Doctors recommend using it not only in hospitals, clinics, sanatoriums and sports medicine, but also individually at home. By adjusting the device settings using the buttons, the patient or his doctor can see them on the indicator. The intensity and duration of exposure to AUZT “Delta” depends on the individual sensitivity and needs of the user.
Ultrasound therapy device Delta for joint treatment
The Delta ultrasound device allows for ultrasound treatment and ultraphonophoresis with medications. Used as part of combination therapy at home. It alleviates the condition of gastrointestinal diseases, pathologies of the nervous, respiratory, and genitourinary systems.
The Delta device successfully treats acute, chronic, and fading stages of joint diseases. It has also proven its effectiveness during remission.
The instructions for using the devices must be followed exactly.
Treatment of joints with the Delta apparatus is carried out in courses. If necessary, more than one session can be performed per day. The exposure time should not exceed 10 minutes. Below are reviews about the treatment of joints with the Delta apparatus.
I have been using the Delta Combi device for 3 months exactly according to the instructions, in which everything is described in great detail and clearly. Before treatment, my legs hurt and I couldn’t bend my knee at all. All the illnesses clearly did not go away, and I did not start running. But the condition has clearly improved. The pain in my legs went away. My knees began to slowly bend. I started walking easier. I use machines for applying ointments. Their effect has noticeably improved.
I bought the device on the advice of a doctor. I have pain when I move, something clicks in my hip joint. Literally after a week I noticed an improvement in walking. I'll keep watching.
Alevtina is 49 years old. Moscow.
The Delta ultrasound device is used to treat many diseases. Treatment should be carried out in combination with drug therapy under the supervision of a physician.
