This way we can isolate the platelet mass we need for injection. This whole process takes 5-10 minutes.

This volume is approximately 10 milliliters. This amount of blood is comparable to the amount of fluid that enters the body with one or two sips of coffee or tea. It is completely imperceptible to the body and does not deplete its resources.

Blood is taken from a vein in the elbow. No special preparation is required. It is enough to abstain from drinking alcohol for 24 hours. The procedure is performed on an empty stomach, and smoking is not recommended before donating blood.

Injections of platelet autoplasma obtained from the patient’s blood are carried out inside the joint, into the muscles (in the area of ​​pain points), as well as into the tissues surrounding the joint (ligaments, tendons, joint capsule). Where do stem cells come from?

Stem cells can be collected using several methods:

  • Lipofilling. This method of cell collection involves therapy with autologous material. In other words, the patient's own stem cells are used. To do this, a puncture of adipose tissue is performed. Typically, fat is taken from the abdomen or thighs using a syringe. For the procedure, a small amount of fat is enough, from which stem cells are subsequently separated using a centrifuge.
  • Collection from peripheral blood. Apheresis is used to obtain stem cells from peripheral blood. The patient is connected to a machine through which his blood flows. The device filters stem cells from the blood and collects them in a separate reservoir.
  • Isolation of cells from umbilical cord blood. If you or your close relatives (subject to compatibility with your phenotype) have umbilical cord blood collected at birth stored in a cryobank, you can use it as a source of stem cells.
  • Obtaining cells from bone marrow. To do this, under anesthesia, the doctor makes a puncture from the patient's (or donor's) femur or sternum with a syringe.
  • Obtaining cells from an aborted fetus. Using fetal cells from a fetus extracted at 4-6 weeks of gestation.
